Shell Tier List is Shifting
Early data confirms Vandal as the best starting shell for new Runners. Its A-tier solo and squad rankings make it the most reliable choice while you learn the maps. Thief is dominating solo play with S-tier extraction focus — perfect for hitting Holotag targets and getting out clean. Destroyer squads are forcing early engagements, which works until Runners learn to disengage.
Weapon Meta Crystallizing
M77 Assault Rifle with Barrel Mod is emerging as the ranked standard — it extends range to Long and dominates sightlines. The Rook Pistol remains a trap weapon that experienced players are already avoiding. V75 Scar needs Grip Mod to control its natural recoil, but the payoff is worth it.
What's Not Working
Assassin's high skill floor is showing — too many new Runners are failing Holotag theft attempts and losing both gear and future rank points. Triage gets a D-tier solo ranking for a reason — don't queue alone with support shells.
