Thief - Stealth dominates solo ranked with S-tier rating. Built specifically for hitting Holotag targets and extracting safely. Use the Drone active to scout extraction routes and avoid unnecessary fights.

Destroyer - Combat and Triage - Support form the ultimate squad combo, both S-tier in team play. Destroyer forces Holotag kills while Triage keeps the squad alive for consistent extractions. This pairing is meta-defining.

Vandal - Combat earns A-tier in both modes — the best starting shell for ranked. Reliable across all Holotag tiers with forgiving gameplay for new ranked players. Works in most squad compositions.

Recon - Intel provides A-tier squad support by spotting rival Holotag carriers. Knowing where enemy teams are becomes invaluable when rank points are on the line. The Spider Bot active gives crucial intel for safe rotations.

Assassin - Stealth has the highest skill floor and poor team utility — only viable for experienced solo players. Rook - Flex and Triage struggle in solo queue with C-tier and D-tier ratings respectively.

Start with Vandal to learn ranked fundamentals, then transition to Thief for solo grinding or Destroyer/Triage for squad play. Focus on consistent extractions over high-risk plays — rank points matter more than individual game performance.
