Rook is Marathon's scavenger. It runs a free loadout, so a Rook run risks none of your own gear, and it has by far the highest loot speed in the game. It exists to farm gear, credits, and map knowledge cheaply rather than to contest objectives — which is why it is banned from Ranked.
Farm, do not fight. Run loot routes, take what the map gives you, and leave. You are carrying nothing of your own, so a failed run costs time rather than gear, which makes Rook the cheapest way to learn a map or rebuild a stash. Ignore objectives; you're not here to contest them.
