What is the best support shell in Marathon?
Triage is the dedicated support shell - self-repair, squad revives, and survivability stats make it the squad anchor. Recon is the secondary support choice, providing information advantage through pinging and scanning. Both can carry rounds that go sideways.
When should you revive a teammate in Marathon?
Revive when the area is genuinely cleared - not when there's still gunfire nearby. A failed revive that loses you AND your teammate is worse than letting them respawn. Communicate before reviving so the rezzed player knows what loot to grab and where to reposition. Triage's faster revive speed makes risky rezzes more viable.
How do you support a squad without dying yourself in Marathon?
Position one angle back from the fight - close enough to revive and heal, far enough that you're not the first one shot. Stack defensive mods on your shell (resistance, recovery). Keep escape options open. A dead support is useless. A surviving support wins rounds.
