The Triage Solo Problem
TriageSupport sits at D-tier in ranked solo for a reason — every ability in the kit assumes you have teammates to support. Reboot+ needs downed allies. Med-Drone attaches to crew members. Shareware.exe shares consumables with your squad. In solo queue, you're playing a support shell with no one to support, which makes most Triage players feel like they're fighting with one hand tied behind their back.
But here's what the ranked data is missing: Triage has the second-highest base health pool in the game at 130 HP plus 40 shields, and Battery Overcharge turns any volt weapon into an EMP machine. The shell isn't broken in solo — players are just building it wrong.
M77 + Battery Overcharge Control
The optimal Triage solo build centers on the M77 Assault RifleAR with Hi-Cap MagMagazine MODDeluxe and Testament chip. This isn't about healing teammates — it's about controlling engagements through superior positioning and overpowering single targets before they can trade back effectively.
M77 deals 16 damage at 450 RPM with 24+9 magazine capacity when modded correctly. Testament adds range and aim assist after a brief ADS window, turning the M77 into a 40+ meter control weapon. The key insight: Battery Overcharge doesn't just boost volt weapons — it generates heat to activate volt weapon EMPs, but the M77 gives you the range control to dictate when and where those fights happen.
Pair the M77 with the V22 Volt ThrowerSMG as your close-range answer. When Battery Overcharge is active, breaking shields with the V22 EMPs the target, buying you the space to finish with the M77 or reposition entirely. The combo covers 10-40 meter engagement ranges while giving you an instant disable tool for aggressive AssassinStealths or VandalCombats trying to close distance.
For implants, run Helping Hands V4TorsoSuperior in torso for the tactical recovery and revive speed boost — yes, revive speed matters in solo because third-party situations happen, and faster ally revives in chaotic fights can turn a loss into a win. Solid Stance V4LegsSuperior in legs gives you the hardware and heat capacity to sustain longer fights, critical when you can't rely on Med-Drone healing.
Cradle Investment and Win Condition
Put 14 Energy into Recharge for Lethal AMP — downing Runners grants tactical energy, eliminating them grants prime energy. This turns every successful engagement into ability fuel, letting you spam Battery Overcharge for more EMP setups. Invest remaining Energy in Resistance track up to Field Medic at 14 — faster consumable usage keeps you healthy when you can't rely on team healing.
The win condition is simple: control mid-range with M77, EMP aggressive pushes with V22 under Battery Overcharge, and use Triage's superior health pool to win trades other shells can't take. You're not playing support — you're playing a tanky DPS shell with conditional EMP utility.
This build works because it acknowledges what Triage actually has in solo: health, decent tactical uptime, and an EMP tool that punishes hyper-aggressive shells. The M77 gives you the range control to dictate fights, while Battery Overcharge gives you the utility to shut down the mobility shells that normally farm support players.
Grade: B+ solo build. Triage will never be S-tier in solo queue, but this loadout maximizes what the shell can actually do when isolated from team support.
