Assassin - Stealth's Shadow Step reduces footstep volume but doesn't eliminate it entirely. Listen for the subtle scrape when Assassins reposition during Phase Shift cooldown. Destroyer - Combat's Iron Frame creates heavy, metallic footsteps—you'll hear them coming from 40 meters.

Learn to identify threats by sound alone. The Ares RG - Railgun's charging whine gives you 2 seconds to find cover. V22 Volt Thrower - SMG's distinctive energy discharge means close-quarters danger. The Conquest LMG - LMG's sustained fire pattern tells you exactly where that Destroyer is holding angles.

Holotag pickups emit a unique chime—if you hear it but didn't grab one, another Runner just increased their extraction target. Extraction zone activation sounds travel 100+ meters. Use this intel to intercept or avoid confrontations.

Recon - Intel's Tracker Drone produces a faint buzzing—destroy it immediately or accept that your position is compromised. Triage - Support's Med Surge has a distinct energy pulse sound that reveals squad locations during healing.
