OUTPOST
Outpost is Marathon's advanced, high-verticality map on Tau Ceti IV: a smaller footprint than Perimeter or Dire Marsh but built around tight-quarters combat, multi-level architecture, and puzzle-like Clearance Code access to premium loot in the central Pinwheel. Intense, predictable fights and heavy third-partying in the center.
BOSS
A distinct UESC boss that spawns in the back of the Dormitories on Outpost, signaled by toxic spores filling the room and yellow bars across doors. Lobs toxic grenades that immobilize and deal toxin damage, with a heavy shield/health pool. A popular farming target for high-tier salvage, weapons, and keys despite the risk.
ZONES (5)
Ground-level hangar area with active bot pressure and the UESC Convoy event start; a good starting and rotation point.
Multi-building residential-style cluster with strong mid-to-high loot and a potential Tox Warden boss spawn; solid for contracts and quick clears.
Peripheral entry points with rooftops and a secret quiet route into the central ship; key-required upstairs areas.
The massive central ship-like structure, locked at match start and requiring Clearance Codes; the highest loot density on the map and the most contested area.
Industrial factory area with efficient movement between objectives; good contract routing with key-locked basement and upper doors.
EVENTS
A convoy event that starts at the Airfield and moves across the map; destroy it for a large high-contested loot box.
An environmental hazard event (fire/rain) that forces players into indoor play.
