Endgame Runners typically focus on Cryo Archive and Ranked simultaneously.
What is Contraband in Marathon?
Contraband is the highest weapon rarity tier - above Standard, Enhanced, Deluxe, Superior, and Prestige. Contraband weapons offer unique mechanics and are typically obtained from Cryo Archive (the first Contraband weapon, Biotoxic Disinjector, drops from the Compiler boss in Vault 7).
How do you reach max rank in Marathon?
Max rank requires completing all six faction liaison contracts, hitting Runner Level 25+, and pushing Ranked tier through Holotag accumulation. Plan to invest 100+ hours minimum for full progression. Optimize by focusing on one shell, one weapon class, and one faction at a time rather than spreading thin.
