Chang-san Air Base
A sprawling North Korean air base cut into a granite hillside, with an underground bunker complex larger than the base above it. The surface holds a hospital, a helipad, a jet runway, barracks, supply depots and a command-and-control building behind a concrete wall watched from towers. Cliffs guard the eastern edge; Part 1 says recon teams have found a way in from the higher woodland to the south.
Expected threat levels
| Area | Threat level |
|---|---|
| Air Base Exterior | Critical |
| Air Base Bunker | Extreme |
Expected threat levels as listed in Activision's Deep Dive Part 1: the danger before any combat starts, and it rises as fighting escalates. Part 1 names Low as the lowest level and Extreme as the highest; it does not define the order of Medium, High and Critical.
Named places
- Air Base BunkerTunnels and bunkers beneath the hillside, larger than the base on the surface.
The June 6, 2026 Call of Duty blog mentioned "the heavily defended Military Base" only as a generic label. Activision has not said that it is Chang-san Air Base; CNP links the two because Chang-san is the only major location in Deep Dive Part 1 that fits (inferred).
