The Solo Support Paradox
TriageSupport sits at D-tier in ranked solo for good reason — support shells struggle without squadmates to support. But the current meta has opened a window for Triage solo climbers willing to flip the script. Instead of playing pure support, successful Triage solos run a hybrid carry build centered on the Conquest LMGLMG. This isn't about healing teammates. This is about staying alive long enough to third-party fights and steal Holotags from wounded Runners.
The key insight: Triage's 130 HP and 40 shield give you the second-highest effective health pool in the game after DestroyerCombat. Combined with Conquest LMG's 540 RPM suppressive fire, you can force other Runners into cover while your natural bulk keeps you alive through their return fire. Your Reboot ability becomes a panic button for self-healing, not team support.
Conquest LMG: The Triage Weapon
Conquest LMG is the only weapon that turns Triage's bulk into a combat advantage. At 16 damage per shot with 540 RPM, it outputs consistent mid-range pressure that forces AssassinStealths and Thieves into retreat. The 36-round magazine gives you enough sustained fire to win trades against multiple hostiles without reloading.
Mod loadout: Pinpoint BarrelBarrel MODSuperior for stability and range, Drum MagazineMagazine MODSuperior for extended suppressive capability. The Pinpoint Barrel eliminates the weapon's natural spread, letting you hit consistent damage at 40+ meters. Drum Magazine pushes your magazine to 50+ rounds, turning you into a walking area denial tool.
Secondary weapon: CE Tactical SidearmPistol for close-quarters cleanup. The 20 damage per shot at 300 RPM gives you reliable finishing power when Runners try to rush your position. Never carry a sniper rifle — Triage solos need weapons that work in chaotic third-party situations.
The Bulk Tank Build
Implant strategy centers on maximizing your natural survivability advantage. Protector V3ShieldSuperior Superior Shield Implant pushes your shield durability even higher. Regen V4HeadSuperior Superior Head Implant with Fast Hands gives you 50% faster self-repair speed — critical when using Reboot to heal yourself mid-fight.
For legs, Solid Stance V4LegsSuperior with Second Wind provides 50 Hardware and 20 Heat Capacity. The hardware reduces status effect duration, and the heat capacity lets you use movement abilities more aggressively. Torso slot goes to Survival Kit V4TorsoSuperior — the 20-second ping duration means you see enemy positions longer after tagging them, crucial for positioning.
The build's win condition: outlast other Runners in extended fights, then clean up weakened targets. You're not trying to win duels through superior aim. You're leveraging Triage's bulk to survive longer than Assassins and Thieves, then capitalizing when they're forced to disengage or heal.
Grade: B Strategy
This build works, but it's fighting against Triage's fundamental design. You're essentially playing a slower VandalCombat with better self-sustain but worse mobility. The Conquest LMG meta gives Triage solos a viable path to climb, but you're still vulnerable to coordinated pushes and struggle against experienced Destroyer players who can match your bulk while bringing superior firepower.
The real strength is in lower Holotag tiers where positioning mistakes are common and third-party opportunities are frequent. As you climb higher, the build becomes more situational. But for Triage players determined to solo queue, this is your best bet in the current weapon meta.
