Bungie's decision to separate Ranked and Cryo Archive schedules is reshaping player priorities. Previously, weekend overlap forced choices between progression systems. Now Cryo Archive runs Thursday-Sunday, with Ranked taking Monday-Thursday windows. This separation allows for dedicated meta development in each mode. Ranked players can focus entirely on Holotag-optimized loadouts without Cryo Archive cosmetic distractions.
